How to Make Stuffed Burgers: The Perfect Sear and Tips for Fillings

LET'S START

Choose the Right Meat Blend: Start with a high-fat beef blend, like an 80/20, for juicy, flavorful stuffed burgers.

Chill the Meat: Before stuffing, ensure your meat is cold; this helps maintain the burger's shape during cooking.

Select Fresh Fillings: Opt for fresh, quality fillings like cheese, sautéed mushrooms, or caramelized onions.

Divide and Conquer: Divide the meat into equal portions to create the top and bottom layers for your stuffed burgers.

Thinner Is Better: Make the burger patties thin, as they'll expand during cooking, and you don't want them too thick.

Center the Filling: Place the filling in the center of one patty, leaving a small border around the edge.

Seal with Care: Lay the second patty on top and seal the edges by pressing firmly to prevent fillings from leaking.
